US Airways Center - This project is part of an interior and exterior renovation of the American West Arena, home of the NBA Phoenix Suns and NHL Phoenix Coyotes. In collaboration with Orne & Associates and Sports & Entertainment Development Consultants, SPD developed an extensive wayfinding and identification system for this multi-use facility. Through the use of simple bold graphics, SPD created a system with a clear hierarchy of information and a dynamic appearance. Currently SPD is developing the exterior elements for the project, which include an exciting multimedia feature for the grand entrance into the arena and criteria for advertisement displays.
