Pacific Design Center - SPD developed exterior monuments and an interior and exterior wayfinding system, to enhance the landmark Pacific Design Center – Los Angeles’ premiere designer showcase center. Large scale monuments – a lamp, a chair and an architectural scale reflect the nature of the home furnishings design industry and dramatically reinforce its landmark status. In addition, SPD created a clean, modern wayfinding system to enhance the experience while inside and out of the PDC. The inspiration behind the wayfinding signs is the tools commonly used by designers, such as sign posts in the form of drafting pencils. Details like these, powerfully combined with the public art monuments provide information and wayfinding to visitors and proprietors alike, in a fun and dynamic way.
