Effervé - French specialty packaged goods importer, Eurobubblies, Inc., commissioned SPD to develop a brand name, package design, and point-of-purchase display for its full line of premium sparkling herbal lemonade beverages. The product’s unique characteristics needed to be communicated to its upscale American target market to capture their attention in gourmet and natural foods markets. And importantly, so did justification for its premium price. Considering budget constraints, the package needed to achieve this at point of sale, with limited trade advertising support. Through brand name development, SPD created the name Effervé to clearly communicate its unique qualities. The name and package design draw from the product’s natural roots in the French Alps, its sparkling essence and inclusion of lemon and herbs. The result is a stunning branded beverage line that has the ability to stand on its own in case displays and warrant a high-ticketed price.
